About MBA
Montana Backcountry Adventures has been serving at Big Sky Resort for the past two seasons, providing the ‘Moonlight Dinners’ experience to Big Sky area visitors. Prior to our Big Sky Resort operation, MBA offered cat skiing in addition to the Moonlight Dinners next door at Moonlight Basin for seven years until Moonlight Basin expanded into a stand-alone ski area and offered lift accessed skiing where the MBA yurt existed. Most of our current staff has been with MBA since its inception. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and show a love for their job and a respect for the mountains they live in.
New for 2008/2009!
MBA is excited to announce the new 'Bell Lake Yurt' located in the nearby Tobacco Root Mountain Range about an hour west of Bozeman. Join us for a luxury backcountry lodging experience in our new yurt, equipped with a wood burning stove, gas range/BBQ, cots and all the supplies you'll need to cook and prepare meals. MBA will also be offering fully inclusive guided tours, on-snow transportation and portage services.
